Amazing day for our Y5 & 6 Equality Ambassadors at the Lancashire Primary Fairtrade Conference at County Hall-Preston.

What an amazing day our Y5 and 6 Fairtrade Ambassadors had at the Lancashire Fairtrade Primary Conference. 

Highlights included making their own Fairtrade chocolate from scratch and seeing the process from cocoa bean to bar, weaving with Fairtrade cotton and learning about how buying Fairtrade makes such a positive difference. 

They can't wait to share with the rest of school all they learned about the importance to buying Fairtrade and the effect the changing climate is having on farmers all over the world.
