Class 2 Arts Week

This week has been fabulous. The children have designed and made mosaics. They used mosaic tiles and once they were dry, they grouted their tile! What a great skill to learn. 
We also read the story, The Queen's Knickers, prompting us to create our own knickers for the queen. The children designed them first, cut their material and then sewed their pieces together. Finally, they decorated their creations. 
The children also designed a Tie-dye T-shirt. They all had a go at Tie-dying and some children even wore their creations to school today for our Jubilee celebrations. 
We were also visited by Sophie, an amazing watercolour artist. She helped the children create a watercolour painting of their own depicting a London scene.
