Learning about pilgrimage

On Thursday we welcomed Gillian to school to tell year 6 about her own experience of pilgrimage.  

Gillian spoke movingly about her journey and answered our many considered questions patiently.  

We are always grateful for the quality and committment of our visitors, Gillian's thoughtfulness made the concept of pilgrimage clear and 'real' for the children.  Each of us took a different benefit away from her talk for which we were all very thankful.
