Mastering stenciling and printing

Online we have been finding images of print making by the Inuit artist Kenojuak Ashevak .We collected images in our sketch book and used them as a starting point for developing thumbnail sketches that are the basis for a stencil print. We combined images from a stencil print, along with images of real animals, to create a print design. Attached are examples from Joseph’s sketch book and photos of the children at work developing their ideas. Thank you to Deven and Charlie for being the art leaders today.
