Class 2 World Book Day

Today, we have celebrated World Book Day! The children have come to school dressed as a character from a book and have made such an effort with their costumes. We spent time together sharing the books we have brought in and discussing the characters we have come as, and then we moved onto some work. This year, we are focussing on poetry so we have learnt the Ning Nang Nong by Spike Milligan. We performed our poem and then had a go at writing our own.
