Learning about Islam

Today class two had a visit from Anwar.  Anwar spoke to the children about Islam. 

The children were able to share their knowledge about Islam and learnt lots of information. Anwar discussed how he became a Muslim and showed the children how he prayed and explained how there is only one God who is known to muslims as Allah. 

He read from the Quran and taught us the alphabet in Arabic. Amaani helped him recite the alphabet in Arabic and shared her faith with her class. We practised writing our names in Arabic.
