Making new friends in America - Art share project

I am very excited to announce a new Arts linking project with Sequoia Elementary school in San Francisco Bay! Teacher Mrs Margot Lipkin and myself have met via Zoom and are thrilled to now introduce our pupils through their mutual love of the Arts. 

Class 3 and 4 have each written a letter about themselves and spoken about their favourite artist and why they love them. They have then completed an artwork in the style of that artist. This week I will post off our letters and attached artworks to Mrs Lipkin, who will distribute them to her pupils. Our new friends will then return the favour and we should receive their letters and artworks before the end of the year. Soon after, we hope to organise a Zoom meet for the pupils. How exciting!
