Poetry morning at Much Hoole

What a fabulous morning we had at Much Hoole. The children were excited to meet Ian Bland, a famous poet, who shared his poems with us making us perform them. We began to write our own poems with a partner and even got to perform X-Factor style!

All the children came away very excited about the morning and inspired to write a lot of poems for themselves. We will be continuing work on this in class next week. In the meantime have a look at the photos and videos of some of the performances and visit the Ian Bland’s website.
