Practical Science- creating cold blooded animals out of clay.

Class 3 have been learning all about the features of cold blooded animals.

Their mission was to make an amphibian or reptile out of clay.

They had to examine the animals's features carefully.

Just like any cold blooded creature, the clay started off cold and warmed up as it was moulded. Cold blooded creatures take their warmth from their environment.

We were careful to keep our clay moist, just like an amphibian, or it began to dry out.
