A wonderful week of Art through school

We were so lucky last week to have former pupil and outstanding artist Alex Glew visit school and work with a variety of classes and age ranges. Alex produces incredible cartoon-like fine line drawings and he ensured pupils gained confidence in using pens to draw by talking them through step-by-step. Pupils in Year 1 worked in small groups to build on our Van Gogh sunflowers topic and Class 3 and 4 benefited from a collective tutorial. Pupils were thrilled with their end results - thank you Alex for inspiring us!
