Year 6 Design and Technology 3-course meal Project

Year 6 were incredible today for the culmination of their Food Technology project. They cleaned, chopped, whisked, fried, plated and served a wonderful three-course meal to 10 lovely friends of Bretherton school. We served:
Starter:
Beetroot and Feta salad with fresh Basil
Main course:
Bolgnese and penne pasta
Dessert:
Eton Mess
The ingredients were locally sourced to ensure the minimum carbon footprint. A huge thank you to TooGood Farm Shop for donating the delicious grass-fed beef.
